I lift heavy, i run loooong distances and replace carbfilled foods (pasta and bread) with vegetables (lettuce, carrots, corn etc.). If you need some sauce, make your own dips with quark, a high protein low fat thick yoghurt and spices.
Keep away from any products with added sugar of any kind (glucose, fruktose, any kind of syrup etc.) and keep in mind that sweetners increases your sugar cravings, so try avoiding them!!
